Bison Bar Endurance Trail Snack
A measured endurance snack kit: one Genesee bar broken into thirds, paired with salted cashews, dried apricots, and dark chocolate. Designed for a 2-hour effort where you need 200 calories every 45 minutes.

Ingredients
- 1 Genesee bar of choice
- ¼ cup salted roasted cashews
- 6 dried Turkish apricots
- 1 oz dark chocolate (70%+)
- 1 small bag or container for packing
Method

Break the bar into thirds — each third is one fuel segment for 45 minutes into a run or ride.

Portion cashews and apricots into the same container alongside the bar segments.

Tuck the chocolate in last so it stays cool against the other items.

Pack in a jersey pocket or running vest.

Consume the first bar-third at 40–45 minutes, paired with a few cashews and an apricot.

Repeat at 85–90 minutes, finishing with the chocolate segment for the last push.
